My feelings are similar to those of Xu Gu. When I was doing lighting design, I was still operating with experience and lacked some specific experimental data. It is difficult to ensure that the actual effect of the work can reach the expected state of our design.

The cooperation between the lighting company and the owner needs to be improved
I have also worked with some lighting design companies and feel that the communication between these companies and the owners is not very good. For example, the lighting design company selected a certain type of lighting, we took it to Party A to purchase, but in the process of purchasing, it was found that such a product was not easy to find on the market. Although such a thing does not directly lead to serious consequences, it is still easy to create misunderstandings between partners.
Second, there are some deviations between us and the lighting designer's understanding of lighting. The lighting company I contacted is generally very bright about the lighting, but I may need some dark areas when designing, so there will be some problems in some coordination.
In addition, some lighting designers, of course, are only a small part, perhaps in order to reflect the professionalism of their lighting, it will inevitably use some difficult means to achieve results. Because it is very difficult to do, the owners often have conflicts with us that are difficult to coordinate. I don't think this is good, maybe I can improve it.

Lighting company's service awareness is not good enough
It is impossible for us to design without knowing the light, and we must always be exposed to the light in our work. But the more embarrassing fact is that we often can't find a suitable lighting company to cooperate. In fact, we don't want to know about lighting companies, but there are too few lighting companies that are willing to cooperate with us for a long time. If the company can provide us with long-term stable and high-quality services, as long as the product quality is excellent, the price is excellent, and we are willing to use it more in design and recommend it to customers. However, lighting companies often do not do enough in this regard. Some companies are reluctant to provide samples to designers, and the after-sales service attitude is not good enough. In fact, business opportunities are often missed.
