Beijing: Energy-saving lamps are used in classrooms in primary and secondary schools

Energy conservation and emission reduction must start from me, and environmental awareness must be cultivated from an early age. At present, more than 2,000 primary and secondary schools in Beijing have replaced all lighting fixtures with energy-saving lamps, which not only saves energy, but also fosters children's awareness of energy conservation.

The reporter came to Fengtai, a small city in Beijing, to see how the students reflected after changing the energy-saving lamps. When you walk into the campus, you will see six solar street lights around the playground. In the sixth class classroom, several lamps hanging from the ceiling are energy-saving lamps, which are bright and soft.

The student said: "The light is not glaring and can protect the eyes."

The student said: "It is sure to save electricity."

Hu Yizhen, director of Beijing Fengtai Wuxiao General Administration, said: "All of our 46 classrooms have replaced energy-saving lamps to prevent light pollution. Campus lighting uses solar lights, saving more than 7,000 yuan per year."
