On April 27th, Qingan County and Beijing Tianwei Power Plant Investment Co., Ltd. formally signed an agreement for the development of Dongfanghong Wind Power Project in Beijing. This project is the largest total investment project in the county so far.
Dongfanghong Wind Power Project is located at Dongfanghong Forest Farm in Qing'an County. The total installed capacity of the project is 300,000 kWh, which is constructed in three phases. The first phase of the project has an installed capacity of 50,000 kWh and a project investment of 500 million yuan. It will be built in October 2013. The annual power generation capacity will reach 113 million kWh, and the average annual tax will be 16.63 million yuan. Compared with coal-fired power generation enterprises, this project can save 45,800 tons of raw coal and reduce carbon emissions by 120,000 tons annually, which will help improve the system power supply structure, ease the pressure on the environment in the power industry, and promote the sustainable development of the regional economy. The civil works of the project will begin this year.
