The concept of new energy vehicles is on a sharp rise! Recent news has sparked excitement: Who will be the leader in this next big wave of stock market trends?
A recent announcement from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology revealed that research and development for fuel truck restrictions are underway, accelerating the layout of the new energy vehicle industry. This move has triggered a breakout in the A-share market for the new energy vehicle supply chain.

China is not the first country to ban fuel cars, but it’s certainly the most impactful. With passenger car production and sales reaching 25 million units, China accounts for 28% of global car sales. This massive market size means any policy shift will have far-reaching consequences.
Domestic support for new energy vehicles is set to increase again. With a strong push, China is about to announce a timeline for banning traditional fuel vehicles. As a result, the new energy vehicle sector has surged today, with many stocks "smashing the car" and hitting daily highs.
The reason for this surge is clear: China has always been the most aggressive in promoting new energy vehicles. A comprehensive ban on traditional fuel cars signals a stronger commitment and more determined strategy in the sector.
If these policies are still in the pipeline, the new energy vehicle dual-point system is expected to launch soon, which could further boost the industry. In August, new energy passenger car sales increased by 25% compared to the previous month, reaching 54,000 units—10,000 more than July.
So who is leading the charge? In early trading today, the new energy vehicle concept soared, with the charging pile index up 4.79%, lithium battery index up 4.75%, shared car index up 4.66%, and the new energy vehicle index rising 4.14%.

China’s passenger car production and sales reached 25 million, accounting for 28% of global car sales. Once China sets a timeline for banning traditional fuel vehicles, its position as the world's largest electric vehicle market will only strengthen.
With such a massive market, China can influence the entire global auto industry. The impact of replacing 25 million vehicles with new energy models would be huge—not just for individuals, but for companies, industries, and even nations.
This isn’t just a trend—it’s a transformation that’s already underway.
