The Lumen Smart LED is very simple to set up. The Lumen Smart LED has a brightness of 400 lumens, which is about the equivalent of a 40W incandescent bulb, but is still slightly darker than the Philips Hue's 600 lumens. Of course, Lumen Smart LEDs are cheaper, so performance is acceptable. The advantages of Lumen Smart LEDs are a wider range of colors and more accurate tones for more vivid lighting, especially in scenes like "party mode" that require rich color effects.

The biggest problem with Lumen Smart LEDs is the limitations of Bluetooth connectivity. Because it does not use the WIFI standard, it can't be Zigbee or Z-wave automation standard, so it can't be linked with WIFI speakers, home monitoring systems and other IoT devices, and the scalability is not good.
