Cold-shrinkable power cable terminal features

1. Installation is facilitated by the use of cold shrink technology, which eliminates the need for hot work and special tools, and eliminates the trouble of piece-by-piece nesting. The core rope is gently extracted, and the ground spring adopts a constant force spring, eliminating the need for welding or copper wire bonding, saving time and effort in construction. It also saves space and is particularly suitable for places with narrow construction space. Each product is individually packaged with an illustrated list of installation instructions and components.

2. Widely applicable

3M shrinkable cable terminations are constructed using pre-expansion technology. Therefore, a variety of cable diameters can be used for each specification, and the cable diameter compatibility is strong. The structural design of the cold-shrinkable cable terminal head is a compact design with integral prefabricated structure. The electrical stress control pipe, the outer insulation protection pipe and the rain gown are integrated. So far, 3M has a complete series of indoor and outdoor cold-shrinkable cable terminals of 35KV and below, suitable for polyethylene cables, crosslinked polyethylene cables, and ethylene propylene rubber cables.

3M cold shrink cable terminal outer insulation material is a high quality silicone rubber material, it has good hydrophobic properties, water droplets rolling on the top at any time, do not form a conductive water film, and hydrophobic self-healing properties. In addition, it has excellent insulation, anti-electrocution, anti-corrosion, and anti-ultraviolet resistance, ensuring long-term stability. Same life as cable body.
