As DSP systems become more widely used in the field of video processing, their application functions are also expanding. Video storage is an indispensable function in DSP systems. How to flexibly store processed video data is one of the problems faced by DSP system application development.
In the choice of storage media, CF card has become one of the mainstream storage media due to its large capacity, low power consumption and small size, and is widely used in data acquisition and other fields. In order to conveniently store data on the CF card, the FAT file system on the CF card needs to be designed in the DSP system. When the DSP system is applied to video processing, the video processing is in units of frames, and each frame of data needs to be stored in real time. This requires a more complex FAT file system design.
In this paper, on the DM642 video processing system, CCS is used as the development platform. The compressed video data is stored in the CF card by SCOM communication between threads. The storage format is FAT16 file system and compatible with PC operation. .
1 DSP video system CF card FAT file system design
1.1 DSP system module framework
The schematic diagram of the framework of the DSP video processing system involved in this paper is shown in Figure 1.
The camera collects video, performs various processing through DS, compresses and encodes it, and stores it in the CF card. The system software architecture includes a video capture thread, a video processing thread, a video compression coding thread, a CF card read/write thread, a video compression decoding thread, and a video display thread.
