Dongguan enterprises to promote LED lighting can receive 10% subsidies

Dongguan Municipal Government's Executive Meeting reviewed and adopted the "Measures for Promoting the Development of LED Industry in Dongguan City" on the 27th. In the promotion and application of LED lighting, the municipal government explicitly provides financial support. According to the “Measures”, the target group includes LED lighting product promotion and application projects implemented by towns and streets (parks) or non-government organizations and enterprises, including roads, squares, underground parking lots, tunnels, office buildings, and commercial buildings. Projects that the city’s finances have participated in or have funded will not be included in the scope of the funding target.

The funding standard is for the promotion and application of LED lighting organized by towns and streets (municipalities), and the city finance subsidizes 10% of the approved price of LED lamps. The subsidy price of LED lamps is jointly issued by the Municipal Finance Bureau and the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau after being approved by the government. In principle, the total investment for outdoor lighting fixtures for single application for subsidy projects is not less than 500,000 yuan, and the total investment for indoor lighting fixtures is not less than 200,000 yuan.
