MIPS Technologies Joins MIPI Alliance to Support Mobile Phone Standard Interface Development

MIPS Technologies, Inc., which provides industry-standard processor architectures and cores for digital consumer, home networking, wireless, communications, and business applications, announces its membership in the MIPI Alliance as an Adopter member. The goal of the MIPI Alliance is to establish a standard software and hardware interface specification for mobile phones and encourage adoption of these standards throughout the mobile ecosystem. By joining the MIPI Alliance, MIPS Technologies now supports these standards to accelerate customers' mobile SoC development time.
