Major countries in the world formulate policies to promote LED development

Driven by LED lighting policies in major countries, significant improvement in LED luminous efficiency, and estimated LED lighting price will drop by 20~30% annually, Lin Fenhui estimates LED demand for lighting from 2009 to 2013. The annual CAGR will reach 97.4%, which is 62.6% higher than that of the large-size LCD LED backlight CAGR, and the LED lighting market will reach US$ 15.4 billion in 2011. The penetration rate in the overall lighting market will exceed 10% for the first time, reaching 10.6%.
