LED chip factory Jingdian's revenue in November was 1.663 billion Taiwan dollars, down 2.8% from October, slightly better than the legal person's expected decline of 5%. The accumulated revenue for the first 11 months was 18.326 billion yuan, an increase of 60.2%;
Jingdian said that in November, the demand for LED TVs was slightly higher than that of October, mainly because customers continued trial production for new products in 2011; however, demand for notebook computers is still low.
The legal person estimates that due to the inventory at the end of December, the revenue situation needs to be observed, and the Q4 revenue of Jingdian is reduced by 10~15%. Looking forward to 2011, Q1 in 2011 is still a weak quarter, and it is estimated that it will enter the peak quarter in March and April. In terms of a single month, in January 2011, due to the inventory in December 2010, and the Chinese New Year in February, customers may delay the order or advance to January, and the Chinese May 1 demand list will be first. So January will not be too bad.
In addition, Jingdian announced that the Changzhou plant purchased 1.196 billion yuan of equipment, and it is expected that Q2 will be put into production in 2011, but whether it will continue to expand production, Jingdian pointed out that it depends on the demand in the second half of 2011.
In November, its revenue was 403 million yuan, a slight increase of 0.5% from October. The previous November revenue was 4.337 billion yuan, an increase of 131%.
