Due to the high flying height of the aircraft, the receiving sensitivity of the walkie-talkie is also very high, the communication distance is relatively long, generally can be more than 200 kilometers, the height of the aircraft is at an altitude of 10,000 meters, and its 50W transmit power can reach 300-350 kilometers. .
Aviation wireless walkie-talkies can be divided into handheld, portable, fixed (airborne) and base based on the requirements of use. In an aerial radio, 5-10W is medium power, 1-5W is low power, 25W is high power, and 50W is super power. The functions of the aerial radio are relatively few, only the basic call function is guaranteed, and there are no more redundant functions. The display characters of the airborne intercom are large. Good backlight makes observation very easy. There are fewer knobs on the surface than conventional vehicles. A small number of knobs and control buttons are used to complete the required control functions, which is convenient for quick operation and convenient for frequency selection. High reliability, normal operation during sudden temperature changes, and simple operation are the characteristics of aviation stations, especially airborne stations. The demand for aviation stations is small, the design and manufacturing requirements are high, and its price is much higher than that of ordinary conventional aircraft. The air stations produced in Europe and America are much more expensive than those produced in Japan. For example, the same vehicle-mounted platform is usually about 2,000 yuan each, while the Japanese airborne platform is about 10,000 yuan, and the similar European aviation stations are 30,000-40,000 yuan each. And the greater the power, the greater the price difference. The domestic walkie-talkies are mainly IC-A3, A4, A22, A23, etc. produced by Japanese ICOM company, of which A23 is the current hot-selling model, while the airborne platform is mainly IC-A110, A200 and other models, A110 models Large sales. Japan Airlines walkie-talkies are not only sold well in the domestic market but also in foreign markets. The VXA-120, VX100, VX-16, and VXA-6 produced by Wetex of Japan are not sold in China, and their markets are mainly in North America and Europe. Some countries such as Europe and the United States produce more high-power models, and the aeronautical stations that have been tested and approved by the National Radio Testing Center include Harris Corporation ’s VDR-2125 (25W) and VDR-2135 (50W), and British PAE ’s 5525-DB (25W), DTR100 (50W) and DT100 (50W) of Italian OTE company, GT100 (100W) and GTR100 (100W) of Italian company (MAECONI, MOBILE, S, P, A).
