RZ-1
With the power off, press the ENTER key to turn on the computer. This will reset all data except the stored channel. For all resets, press and hold the M key to start.
R-2000
With the power switch in the "ON" state, unplug the power cord. Remove the upper cover of the receiver (8 screws). Short-circuit pin 40 of IC-12 on the frequency synthesizer unit to ground for about 5 seconds.
