Opnext recently announced the launch of two newest laser diode products - HL40023MG and HL45023TG. Both products are highly efficient, stable, and reliable.
The HL40023MG is a high power 404nm/500mW violet laser diode that is ideal for applications such as biomedical illumination and fiber optic lithography. This violet laser diode is very cost-competitive. It uses a high-intensity diode in a 5.6mm package and consumes only 390mA of power, which helps reduce the manufacturer's overall operating costs.
The HL45023TG is the first of a series of blue laser diodes. It has been specially designed to meet the needs of miniature mobile projectors, fluorescent and various sensing applications. It provides 60mW optical output power at 445nm, which is 30% lower than the current blue laser diode on the market. The maximum operating temperature is 70°C and the 3.8mm package size makes it an ideal choice for embedded devices in mobile devices.
