The total power generation in Bazhou, Xinjiang reached 98 million megawatts in 2010

According to statistics from Xinjiang Statistics Bureau of Bazhou, in 2010, the total power generation in Bavaria was 92 million MWh, an increase of 2% year-on-year. In the trend of significantly reducing nuclear power generation, nuclear power still accounted for 51.5%, reaching 47.4 million MWh. Fossil energy (coal, petroleum products, natural gas) generated 19.2 million megawatt-hours of electricity, accounting for 20.9% of the state's total electricity generation. The proportion of renewable energy generation was 25.9%, reaching 23.8 million MWh, an increase of 13.3% year-on-year. More than half of clean energy comes from hydropower, which is 12.5 million MWh. Biogas, landfill gas and sewage gas generated 3.3 million megawatt-hours of electricity, solid and liquid biological energy generated 2.4 million megawatt-hours, and wind, geothermal and bio-waste generated 1.1 million megawatt-hours. It is noteworthy that solar power generation increased by 74.2% to 4.5 million MWh.
