Toshiba Launches World's First Naked Eye 3D Notebook

Toshiba Launches World's First Naked Eye 3D Notebook Toshiba announced today the world’s first glasses-free 3D notebook, the Qosmio F750, similar to the Qosmio T851/D8CR released by Toshiba in April. It can simultaneously play 2D and naked-eye 3D images on its 15.6-inch display.

Toshiba 3D improved the 2D to 3D conversion function based on the original dynamic 3D, color 3D, and 3D noise reduction features, and added two 3D enhancement technologies: one to increase the 3D depth of field, and the other to increase the 3D brightness. Since active 3D glasses often cause loss of brightness and the image is too dark, Toshiba can adjust the brightness to a level close to that of the original 2D image through the brightness correction table.

Qosmio F750 is equipped with a 15.6-inch display (120Hz), resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, equipped with Intel Sandy Bridge Core i7 processor, uses 2GB of NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M graphics memory, built-in 6GB memory and 640GB hard drive, pre-installed 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium Edition operating system and Office 2010 Home and Business Edition office software.

In addition, F750 series notebook also supports 802.11b/g/n wireless transmission, Bluetooth and other functions, and provides USB 3.0, USB 2.0x3, mini D-Sub, HDMI interface and Harman Kardon audio.

This notebook will be available for sale in August this year, starting at 1300 pounds, or about 13,500 yuan.
