U.S. releases three energy efficiency announcements that fluorescent lamp ballast energy efficiency standards have been adopted

In November, the U.S. Department of Energy issued three consecutive circulars related to energy conservation.

The first is the adoption of the newly revised minimum energy saving standard for fluorescent ballasts by the Ministry of Energy. It is considered that the standard is technically feasible and economical and will save a lot of energy. The new standard will be implemented from November 14, 2014, covering a wide range of ballasts.

Fluorescent lamps are currently relatively energy-saving and widely used lighting equipment. The application of ballasts also determines the energy efficiency, longevity and reliability of lamps. The latest energy efficiency standards approved this time have made requirements for fluorescent lamp ballasts of different sizes, different application environments and different voltage conditions in order to achieve more economical and energy saving.

The second is the Department of Energy's proposal to review the energy testing procedures for household washing machines to ensure that the testing procedures can represent consumer behavior and can be repeated in different laboratories. The public can submit their opinions by December 9;

The third is the preliminary decision of the Ministry of Energy to include domestic refrigerated products without built-in compressors in the products covered by Section B under Chapter III of the Energy Policy and Conservation Law. The public can submit their opinions by December 8.

Therefore, the three announcements issued by the United States related to energy conservation will have a certain impact on Ningbo's exports.
