Skyworth color TV model 29TK9000 (5P30 movement) rework machine, line output transformer failure model [BSC25-3355-21] with double focus. Users don't have this specific model in hand, so they tried to replace it with Skyworth 29HI9000 line T. The original mounting feet are mostly the same, with only a slight difference in focus type—double convergence versus single focus. It was decided that replacing the tube seat can be done using double-convergence and single-focus adjustment, and after replacement, the focus can be fine-tuned slightly.

This machine has a common and serious issue that is very annoying. The problem changes with the image, causing a flashing phenomenon, which can easily lead to misdiagnosis during repair. The normal power supply voltage of the machine is 140V. If the system is locked, it's usually a data-related issue, but adjustments often don’t work. To enter the factory mode: press the volume key to "0", then press the control screen to access the settings.

Another possible cause could be the pillow tube or capacitance issues. After checking IC302 and C326, it turned out that the real issue was C306 and D300. Upon testing, C306 was found to have no capacitance, so it was replaced. Once replaced, everything returned to normal. However, it's important to note that C306 must be an authentic part; otherwise, the replacement may not work properly and could lead to incorrect diagnosis.
