At the recent "CEATEC JAPAN 2010", Sony showed an LED display with a screen size of 21.7m × 4.8m and support for 3D image display.
Sony has achieved a large size by bonding multiple 28-inch LED display units. It can reach up to 867 miles. The LED display has a brightness of 2000 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. In terms of viewing angle, the upper and lower sides are 90 degrees, and the left and right are 120 degrees.
Sony's on-site attendees introduced that the LED display was used once in Japan, but its scale is practical and has not yet been decided.
